Alyssa-rose Growing Bacteria

 Growing Bacteria

What you need:

Petri dish

Agar jelly

Cotton bud

Dirty surface

Tape

Method:

First, you need to make the Agar jelly.

Then, You pour it into the petri dish.

After that, you need to put the petri dish in the fridge to set.

Next, you wipe your cottonbud on the dirty surface. Then, you wipe it on the agar in the petri dish.

Finally, seal the petri dish with tape and wait for your  bacteria to grow.

My one had little dots on it and I wonder if bacteria will grow on it more?

The next few weeks it grew more bacteria on it. On one side it had Squiggly lines and on the other side it had Black dots.

  2. Hi Alyssa-Rose, well done on having each step in the method on a new line. It makes it easier for someone else to follow your instructions. I like how you included a description of what the bacteria looked like. Next time, make sure all your writing is in the same font.
